dMAT Practice Papers

dMAT practice papers and mock tests

Full-length, timed dMAT mock tests you sit on-screen — original questions written to match the official General Academic Module format, scored on the server with worked explanations.

These are original practice papers — not real or leaked dMAT questions. Every item is written by us to match the official format and machine-verified. dMAT Practice is independent and not affiliated with g.a.s.t., d-mat.de, or APS India.

What's in a paper

Each full paper mirrors the exam's four timed sections: Figure Sequences and Mathematical Equations (25 minutes each), Latin Squares (20 minutes) and the General Academic Module(90 minutes) — the same section timings you'll work to on test day. See the full syllabus & exam pattern for how those sit inside the two official module slots.

Timed, on-screen, server-scored

Papers run under a real countdown in the browser, so you practise pacing — not just content. Answers are scored on the server (never in the page), and every question comes with a worked explanation once you finish.

Practise every dMAT section

Each section has its own question style and timing, so target them individually before you sit a full paper:

dMAT figure sequences practice

Spot the transformation rule across a sequence of figures and predict the next one — our figure-sequence items span the full range of rotation, reflection, count and fill patterns.

dMAT mathematical equations practice

Solve compact numeric and relational equation puzzles at speed, the way the Mathematical Equations subtest demands.

dMAT Latin squares practice

Fill interdependent grids so no symbol repeats in any row or column — genuine multi-blank Latin-square puzzles, not single forced blanks.

dMAT General Academic Module (GAM) practice

Read a passage, table or scenario and answer the linked questions — applied problem-solving across the GAM testlet archetypes.

Free dMAT mock test

Start with the free timed diagnostic covering the three core reasoning sections. It needs no card, returns an instant readiness estimate, and shows you exactly what a full paper feels like before you unlock the rest of the bank. First check whether the exam applies to your degree with the dMAT eligibility checker.

Questions, answered

How many dMAT practice papers are there?
Fifty full-length papers — 3,800 questions in total — plus the free diagnostic. Every paper follows the same four-section, timed structure as the real exam.
How do you know the answers are correct?
Every question is machine-checked before it ships: each equation is brute-forced to confirm exactly one solution, and each Latin square is solved by a real backtracking solver to confirm it is uniquely forced. That is 97,340 automated checks across the bank, with zero failures.
Can I retake a paper?
Yes, as many times as you like. Papers you unlock are yours permanently, and each attempt is scored and stored separately so you can see whether your timing and accuracy are actually improving.
Do I have to take the papers in order?
Papers unlock in order as you buy them — a pack of ten opens papers one to ten. Within what you own you can take them in any order and revisit any of them.
